Rachel #01

It’s been a long while since I got to do a shoot on a beach so when fellow photographer, Gary Crowson, offered an open invitation to join him in Galveston for an early morning session, I jumped at the opportunity. The early wake up on a Saturday morning was rough but getting to work with Rachel definitely made up for the loss of sleep!

For this first look, we made our way under the Murdoch’s pier. I love this location because you get out of the direct sunlight but still have a ton of natural light to work with. The lines from the pillars also provide an interesting and eye catching backdrop as well.
